This course is aimed at experienced domestic heating installers or plumbers who wish to up-skill and include solar thermal heating in their offering. Completion of this course will provide you with a level 3 certification. At the end of this course you will be able to install and maintain solar thermal heating, you will also meet the training entry requirements for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). CANDIDATES ARE EXPECTED TO COMPLETE HOME STUDY PRIOR TO COURSE

It covers the skills and knowledge required to undertake tightness testing & direct purging of installation pipework not exceeding 1m³ in volume, 40 mbar pressure and 150mm diameter natural gas only. using DSE. CANDIDATES MUST HOLD A CORE GAS SAFTY CERTIFICATE.
