Course Information

By the end of this training you will recognise the signs of abuse or neglect in children and know what to do in response to concerns.

Learning:

  • Describe and understand their own role in keeping children safe in their setting.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of signs and symptoms of different types of child abuse.
  • Demonstrate understanding of how and why we work with other agencies to safeguard children.
  • Explain what to do if they have safeguarding concerns about an child, a colleague or practices within an organisation.
