This includes an exploration of what we mean by cultural competence, what are the cultural dynamics in society and within our oganisation? How do we recognise them? How can we apply the 4 Pillars to becoming a more culturally aware and competent organisation.

This course focusses on the protected characteristic of disability. It provides a space where delegates can explore best practice in managing disabled people, and is designed and delivered by a former wheelchair-user. It can act as a stand-alone module or be combined with three related workshops to create a comprehensive programme on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
